The main objective of this study was to examine the influence of corporate governance and macro economic variable consisting of inflation, exchange rate, and interest rates on the financial distress of listed companies in the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) The survey results Indonesian Institute of Corporation Governance (IICG) and SWA magazine. The results of this study showed that there was a negative relationship between corporate governance to financial distress. Meanwhile macroeconomic variables are inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates do not affect the financial distress.
