The implementation of construction service regulations is the legal basis for the implementation of construction work. Deliberations between the government, consultants and contractors produce a policy decision. In the implementation of construction projects there are problems that cause consultants and contractors to have strategic steps to solve problems. For example, there are often obstacles that can affect the process of implementing development, causing many job changes. Therefore, in the implementation of construction work requires regulation as legal protection. However, the practical implementation of regulations against it is very limited. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that can influence the implementation of construction service regulations on changes in construction project work contracts and to determine the factors that have the greatest influence on the implementation of construction service regulations on work changes in construction project implementation.
The research method used is a quantitative method with the data source of this research named primary data obtained directly from the field through filling out questionnaires by respondents named contractor companies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 program.
Based on the results of this study, the factors that influence the implementation of construction services regulations as legal protection for job changes are the causes of job changes, the impact of job changes, the legal basis for job changes, and the role of job change protection. The results of the analysis state that the factor that has the greatest influence on the implementation of regulations as legal protection for changes in work in the implementation of construction projects is the variable role of legal protection for changes in work (X4) with a regression coefficient of 0.234 and a mean value of 3.76.
