Pollution, resource depletion, waste, global warming, and climate change are all key contributions in the building business. Green Public Procurement (GPP) is expected to have a significant impact on the environment throughout the entire cycle of using goods/services, particularly in the construction of road infrastructure. The goal of this research is to figure out what factors influence environmentally friendly road construction in DIY projects so that they can be used in the procurement process. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used in the study, which was aided by expert choice software. Influential criteria were gathered from the literature review, particularly previous studies, and organized in a hierarchical format, before the expert assessed the paired comparisons. The weights of each criterion were calculated using expert choice software after the assessment results were analyzed. The findings revealed that the following are the most important factors that influence the green procurement process for road construction: Priority 1: green design geometric road design (0.191), priority 2: application of environmentally friendly materials (green material) (0.166), priority 3: water and waste management (0.110), priority 4: practitioner readiness (0.094), priority 5: application of alternative methods (0.094), priority 6: quality management (0.084), priority 7: contract requirements (0.079), priority 8: socio-cultural (0.061), priority 9: requirements for goods/services provider companies (0.045), priority 10: requirements for goods/services provider (0.038), priority 11 health and comfort in the project (0.038). Applying priority 1 and priority 2 criteria during the planning stage might reduce the impact of environmental harm caused by building activities during the implementation stage. At the implementation stage, water and waste management (priority 3) come next, backed up by the dedication and readiness of all procurement practitioners (priority 4)
