This study was aimed to determine the effect of placement, motivation and work stress variables on  the job satisfaction of hospital staffs of level III.04.06.03 at Dr. Soetarto Yogyakarta. This study used 50 respondents with saturated sampling technique. The analysis in this research used a multiple linear regression. The result of the analysis showed that the job placement, work motivation and work stress had a  positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of  the hospital staffs of level III.04.06.03. at Soetarto Yogyakarta. Adjusted R   = 75. 2%.
