By considering the length of the beach area it is necessary to set up a software or programs that can be used to analyze the process of wave propagation in the port area in accordance with various forms of building the port. However, in practice in the field, there are two software to analyze wave propagation are Aware 2-3 and Cgwave program. For that we need a software comparison study between Awave 2-3 and Cgwave.

From the results of running the program between Awave 2-3 and Cgwave in terms of the highest waves there are a difference of 0% for a period of 12 seconds; 0.6% for a period of 13 seconds; 0.45% for a period of 14 seconds. In terms of input data needs, running the data and the results of running the data then the program corresponding to the case in the Glagah port is Cgwave.
