KAJIAN STRUKTUR PENDOPO AKIBAT PENAMBAHAN BEBAN PENUTUP ATAP STUDI KASUS BANGSAL KEPATIHAN YOGYAKARTA

Pendopo is one of Java traditional building.  All of sructural component of pendopo are timber except foundation structure called umpak.  Traditional timber connection system is used for element connection.  Lightweight of roofing materials usually used for roofing system.

Bangsal Kepatihan Yogyakarta is used for this research, because large deflection and deformation of the structure caused by heavy roofing material replacement and Yogyakarta earthquake 2006.

The structure of pendopo is safe under all of load combination although the bending stresses and axial stresses nearly the allowable stress.  Placing strengthening steel for element connection system and shear connector for beam element is possible to optimize the structural component.
