ABSTRACT

The purpose of this thesis is to create a medium for children learning English with multimedia -based tools utilizing Adobe Flash CS3 and Audacity . Media of learning English is to learn English media that is presented in the form of multimedia audio and visual display so that children can learn English more easily . English is one of the international language used to communicate around the world . Therefore, it is very important to learn English to learn English because it will get a real advantage , so it can be used widely for various purposes , one of which is to accelerate the process of technological advances in science today are increasingly sophisticated . Learning English should be introduced early because generally children learn faster , including English language than adults . Language learning components including the understanding of the vocabulary . The results of the overall test score of aspects of media including good category , it shows that learning the English language media for multimedia -based child can make it easy for teachers or parents to explain the material in English and can help children in reciting the English vocabulary more easily , so that the child's vocabulary increases.
