ANALISIS YURIDIS TERHADAP TINGKAT PERCERAIAN DI PENGADILAN AGAMA BANTUL

Abstract

In the Bantul regency, particularly for those who are Muslim, the divorce from 2016 to 2018 experienced an alarming increase. Therefore the purpose of this research is to find out and analyze things that affect the increase in divorce rates from year to year and to find out ways to reduce the increase in divorce rates in the Bantul Religious Court. This research was conducted using library research methods and field research. In library research using the study of documents in order to obtain secondary data, while in field research interviews were conducted with a qualitative approach in order to obtain primary data. After the data has been obtained in full, then it is analyzed qualitatively by means of the data described further by using a descriptive method, namely discussing the problem by identifying, analyzing and interpreting the data to draw a conclusion. Based on the results of the discussion it is known that the things that influence the increase in divorce rates in the Bantul Religious Court are ongoing disputes and quarrels between husband and wife, one of the parties leaving his partner, economic factors, and finally the occurrence of violence in the household. While the way to deal with it that has been done is limited to giving an appeal to couples who want to divorce to reconsider for the sake of their children.
