PANDANGAN HUKUM PIDANA TERHADAP LEGALISASI GANJA DI INDONESIA
Abstract
The legal research entitled "Criminal Law's View on Marijuana Legalization in Indonesia" aims to find out why Indonesia has not reviewed the legalization of cannabis plants while in some countries it has been legalized and to know positive legal views in Indonesia regarding marijuana. The research method used in this research is normative juridical, data collection using literature study is carried out by collecting relevant data.
Based on the results of the discussion and research conducted, it can be seen that marijuana has benefits and marijuana also has an impact on growing health so that marijuana is a debate between countries. But many countries have legalized marijuana for medical purposes, in Indonesia the legalization of marijuana cannot be done because marijuana is considered a first class narcotic plant, in Law Number 35 of 2009 narcotics that may be used as drugs are only narcotics class two and three.
