PENGARUH PENYISIPAN KACANG HIJAU TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA GALUR HARAPAN PADI BERAS HITAM SISTEM IRIGASI AEROBIK
Abstract
Black rice is a type of functional staple food that is very beneficial to human health, but its availability is scarce on the market so its production really needs to be increased. This study aimed to determine the effect of relay-planting mungbean between double rows of rice plants on growth and yield of several promising lines of black rice under aerobic irrigation systems. The experiment was conducted in Dasan Tebu village, West Lombok, from November 2020 to March 2021, which was arranged according to a Split Plot design with two treatment factors, namely black rice lines (G3; G9; G6 lines) as the main plots, and relay-planting of mungbean (P0: without; P1: with mungbean relay-planting) as the subplots. The results showed that the intercropping factor was more significant than the line differenes in increasing black rice yield. The effect of intercropping was more significant in increasing filled panicle number and grain yield per clump than in increasing black rice growth under aerobic irrigation systems. The interaction effect of treatment factors on grain yield per clump indicated that there were differences in the response between the promising lines of black rice to intercropping with mungbean, where the G6 line showed the highest increase in grain yield (43.6%) due to intercropping with mungbean with grain yield of 32.16 g/clump, followed by the G3 line (28.3%) with a grain yield of 33.61 g/clump, and the lowest was the G9 line (15.7%).

Beras hitam merupakan salah satu jenis bahan pangan pokok fungsional yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan manusia, namun ketersediaannya langka di pasaran sehingga sangat perlu ditingkatkan produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyisipan kacang hijau terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil beberapa galur harapan padi beras hitam pada sistem irigasi aerobik. Percobaan dilakukan di Dusun Dasan Tebu, Lombok Barat, dari bulan November 2020 sampai Maret 2021, yang ditata menurut rancangan Split Plot dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu galur padi beras hitam (galur G3; G9; G6) sebagai petak utama, dan penyisipan kacang hijau (P0: tanpa penyisipan; P1: dengan penyisipan kacang hijau antar barisan kembar padi beras hitam) sebagai anak petak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor tumpangsari lebih banyak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan dibandingkan dengan perbedaan galur dalam meningkatkan hasil padi beras hitam. Tumpangsari tanam-sisip dengan kacang hijau lebih signifikan pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan jumlah malai berisi dan hasil gabah per rumpun dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan padi beras hitam pada sistem irigasi aerobik. Adanya pengaruh interaksi faktor perlakuan terhadap hasil gabah per rumpun menunjukkan adanya perbedaan respon antar galur harapan padi beras hitam terhadap penyisipan dengan tanaman kacang hijau, di mana galur G6 menunjukkan peningkatan hasil gabah tertinggi (43,6%) akibat tumpangsari dengan kacang hijau dengan hasil gabah 32.16 g/rumpun, disusul oleh galur G3 (28.3%) dengan hasil gabah 33.61 g/rumpun, dan terendah pada galur G9 (15.7%).
